Empros at Q-Commerce Delivered 2026

We recently had the pleasure of joining retailers and industry partners in Glasgow for Snappy Shopper’s Q-Commerce Delivered 2026.

As Snappy Shopper’s preferred marketing partner, it was a brilliant opportunity for Empros to take part in the Let’s Talk Social panel and discuss what is genuinely working for convenience retailers across social media, content and paid advertising.

Our conversation centred on the importance of variety and authenticity. Effective social media should not make every post feel like an advert. The strongest accounts entertain, engage and connect with their communities, helping promotional content make a greater impact when it appears.

We also discussed the value of simple, authentic video; involving store teams in content; reacting quickly to local events and trends; and using paid social to reach the people who can realistically shop with you. Retailers do not need enormous advertising budgets, but they do need a clear objective, a relevant local audience and an offer that is immediately easy to understand.

Our final piece of advice was simple: act fast with promotions, trends and community moments. Be spontaneous, and try, try, try again.

Exciting developments from Snappy Shopper

The event also gave us a glimpse of what is coming next for retailers on the platform.

Snappy Shopper CFO Barry McGonagle announced Snappy AI, a new tool built directly into the retailer dashboard. Retailers will be able to use it for support with the Snappy platform, from answering menu and technology queries to setting up promotions and producing reports on their store’s top-performing and trending products.

It is an exciting addition that should make it easier for retailers to access useful information, understand their performance and manage more of their Snappy activity from one place.

Celebrating our retailers

One of the best parts of the event was catching up with so many of the retailers we work with, and seeing several of them recognised on the day.

A huge congratulations to:

  • Craig from The Cornerstores Costcutter, who received the Operational Champion Award

  • Sandeep from Welcome Co-op Faversham, who received a Centurion Award after surpassing 100,000 deliveries

  • Ram from Gilmerton Grocers, who also received a Centurion Award after surpassing 100,000 deliveries

They were joined by several more deserving winners from across the Snappy Shopper network. Seeing our retailers continue to grow and receive recognition for the work happening inside their stores is something we are incredibly proud of.

Thank you to everyone at Snappy Shopper for inviting us to contribute and for putting together another valuable event for the convenience retail community. We look forward to seeing how the ideas, conversations and new technology shared in Glasgow help retailers across the platform continue to move forward.
